  現在取り組んでいる研究課題と研究概要
My research focuses on how university instructors can support student motivation and create learning environments where students feel engaged, confident, and willing to learn.

Student motivation is influenced by individual factors such as personality and effort, but I believe it is also strongly shaped by the learning environment that teachers create through course design, classroom interaction, and instructional strategies. My research examines how instructors’ roles and teaching practices support students’ active engagement in both face-to-face and online learning.

Currently, I am developing a teacher training model based on the MUSIC Model of Academic Motivation (Jones, 2009, 2018). The goal is to help university instructors intentionally foster students’ sense of empowerment, usefulness, success, interest, and caring, and to bridge motivation theory and classroom practice for more meaningful learning experiences.
